PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Warner Pacific men's soccer team scored it's fourth goal with thirty seconds remaining in regulation to overcome a 3-0 deficit in the first half, defeating Corban College 4-3.

The Knights in second place with a record of 6-3 in conference play hold a 5 point lead on Evergreen State and The College of Idaho (formerly Albertson College) who are tied for third in points.

Head coach Bernie Fagan and his team found themselves behind three goals in just over 25 minutes of play Thursday under the lights and in rainy condition. While wet, their spirits were not dampened as Luis Galvan kicked off a remarkable comeback with a goal 38:51 into the first half. The Knights chipped away at the Corban lead early in the second half with an unassisted goal by Chris Price four minutes into the second half action. Jaxin Skyward finally tied the game up at 65:25 as he slow rolled one past the Warriors keeper knotting it at 3-3. As it was looking like overtime with just 30 seconds remaining in the match Galvan netted his second goal of the evening giving the Knights their first lead of the game and the win.

The Knights are 6-6, 6-3 CCC and return to play Saturday as they travel to Eugene to play conference opponent Northwest Christian at 2:30 PM.
