PORTLAND, Ore.—After completing the regular-season conference season 10-0, the Concordia University women’s soccer team finished the task with a 4-0 win against Oregon Tech in the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships held at Central Catholic High School.

Concordia improved to 17-2-0 on the season while Oregon Tech dropped to 12-8-1. Play resumes at the NAIA Region I level with a two-day four-team playoff held at Carroll College in Helena, Mont., on Nov. 2-3. Seedings for the tournament will be determined on Sunday.

Justine Pronovost (Milwaukie, Ore.) got the Cavaliers on the board in the 7th minute after a long cross from Jackie Pronovost (Milwaukie, Ore.). Owl keeper Jaclyn Unruh blocked Justine’s initial shot, but the Cavalier forward continued her charge and tapped in the opening goal from point-blank range while facing an open net.

Jessica Ramback (Mill Creek, Wash.) continued her scoring barrage with her conference leading 20th score of the season with an 8-yad put back of a Shea Miller (Azalea, Ore.) shot which ricocheted off the far post and towards the awaiting Ramback, who has scored at least one goal in nine of the team’s last 10 contests.

With just over a minute left in the first period, freshman Kelton McFadden (Boise, Ida.) connected for her second career goal with a short shot after a play in by Kaitlyn Tebbs (Bend, Ore.) from the left side to widen the gap to 3-0.

A fellow freshman on the club, Sami Andrews (Camas, Wash.) produced her second goal of the season with an assist by Tebbs after a scramble in front of the net in the 54th minute.

Leah Flores (Vancouver, Wash.) and Kali Smith (Gresham, Ore.) split goalkeeping duties for the Cavs with Flores credited with the win. An All-CCC first-team selection, Jaclyn Unruh stopped seven shots for the Owls.
