KENOSHA, Wis. - The Eastern Oregon University men's cross country team finished 19th and The College of Idaho claimed 23rd place in this year's NAIA National Cross Country Championships.  The Coyotes were led by the 75th place finish of senior Tyler Hopper, while the Mountaineer contingent was paced by sohomore Zach Heath in 82nd position.  This 2007 Championship field included 258 runners over the eight kilometer course. 

Hopper completed the course in 26 minutes, 4.3 seconds.  He was followed by fellow teammates Jesse Chelback (78th, 26:05.8), and Paul Sartin (120th, 26:25.8).
 

Eastern Oregon's Josh Ego was the second Mountaineer to cross the finish line in 93rd place and a time of 26 minutes, 11.5 seconds.  Followed Ego across the tape was Adam Goulet (106th, 26:18.3) and Cam Starner (152nd, 26:38.8). 

Concordia's Eric Burck led the individual qualifiers for the Conference with a 44th place finish and a time of 25 minutes, 40.5 seconds.  Cascade Conference Athlete of the Year, Kory Humberston (OIT) finished the course in 26 minutes, 20.5 seconds wich placed him 110th.  Southern Oregon's Kevin Jeffers (25:37.5) and Cameron Kruez (26:36.8) finished 37th and 150th, respectively.  Leonard Randall from Northwest University placed 111th with a time of 26 minutes, 21.9 seconds.
