OIT's Klaja Named to All-Region Team
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- Oregon Tech all-conference outside hitter Michelle Klaja (SR. Klamath Falls, OR), who led her team to a 23 win season and a trip to the NAIA Region I tournament, was also named to the NAIA All-Region I volleyball team announced Monday.
Klaja finished the season with a team high 442 kills (3.53/game) putting her fourth on the Cascade Conference leaders list for the year, 16 aces, 326 digs (2.61/game) and 65 blocks.
Other Cascade Conference members earning first team honors were Rachel Cotter (Concordia), Grace Deboodt (Eastern), Catherine Everist (C of I), Katie Hogue (C of I), Lindsey Stone (Southern) and Mia Wortel (Southern). Region I Player of the Year went to Angie Johnson of Westminster College while Catherine Everist of The College of Idaho received Libero of the Year.
