PORTLAND, Ore.— A day after sweeping conference foe Cascade College, fellow league member Warner Pacific pulled the same feat in hammering a 3-0 (30-19, 30-28, 30-22) win against Concordia University in Cascade Collegiate Conference volleyball action on Nov. 3.

With the result, Warner Pacific moved to 11-12 on the year and 7-11 in CCC play. Concordia dropped back down to .500 with a 14-14 overall mark on the season and 9-9 in the Cascade.

Leah Gladwohl led the Knights with 17 kills in a sterling .500 hitting percentage from the floor.
Teammates Marcy Oakland and Ann Whitemarsh also reached double figures with a combined 23 kills, most of which were generated via effective passing from setter Kayli Egan, who notched 45 assists in the match.

Raluca Dinca led the Cavalier attack with 10 kills in 27 total attempts for a .296 rate. Rachel Cotter tallied 25 digs in the contest to increase her season sum to 582. Cotter finished the night one dig shy of the school-record total of 583 digs set by current Cavalier assistant coach Erin Blyth during the 2005 season.

Concordia concludes its regular season with a pair of road matches beginning with Oregon Tech on Nov. 9, followed by a battle with Southern Oregon on Nov. 19. Warner Pacific finishes the slate with a homestand against The Evergreen State College and Northwest University.
