CALDWELL, Idaho - Late three-pointers from Ashley Wolfe and Katee Brewer helped The College of Idaho women's basketball team open Cascade Conference play with a 74-66 victory over Oregon Tech in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

With the win, the Lady Yotes (4-1, 1-0 CCC) extended their win streak to four games and handed the Lady Owls their first loss of the season.

After seeing a 14-point first half lead erased, the Coyote got the Wolfe trey with 2:20 remaining to give The C of I a 66-61 edge. Following an OIT (4-1, 0-1) bucket, Brewer knocked home the triple from the right wing with 1:07 left and the Yotes canned free throws to ice the win.

Denise Hill had 14 of her 22 points in the first half, as the Yotes built a 24-10 edge, but watched as OIT closed the period with a 9-0 run and eventually took a 57-54 lead in the second half, but could not hold on. Wolfe had 13 points off the bench in the win, with Whitney Clark adding 13 points.

Tech got 24 points and seven rebounds from Crystal Idrogo and 15 points and nine rebounds from Cora McVey - with the Owls committing 28 turnovers.

The Lady Yotes return to action tomorrow, hosting Southern Oregon at 5:30 p.m.
