KLAMATH FALLS, Oregon (December 18, 2007)---Oregon Tech sizzled the nets tonight crushing Northwest at Danny Miles Court 102-57. It was the Lady Owls first conference win of the season improving to 8-3 overall and 1-2 in CCC play. Northwest drops to 2-7 overall and 1-2 in the CCC.

Tech made nine first half 3-pointers, of their 17 total field goals, on their way to a 52-34 half time score. Jenni Miiller (SR. Boise, ID), struggling as of late, found the bottom of net for four 3’s while Jenna Ball (SR. Scappoose, OR) knocked down four 3’s as well. Both guards finished with 14 first half points.

In the second half Northwest would get no closer than 24, as Tech would again put down 17 second half field goals, on their way to a 34-77 shooting performance, for a 44.2% clip on the night. Tech would out rebound the Eagles 57 to 33 with 20 coming from the offensive end. Tech would also hold NU to 30.6% shooting on the night, hitting only 19-62 field goals.

Tech’s Crystal Idrogo (SO. Sacramento, CA) had another spectacular double-double performance, knocking down 18 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Jenni Miiller would finish with a career and game high 22 points. Amanda Johnston (JR. Myrtle Point, OR) also had a career high 19 points. Cora McVey (SR. Dexter, OR) and Jenna Ball both tallied 14 points tonight.

Northwest’s Rachel Travis and Erika Hornyak had 14 each for the Eagles.

The Lady Owls will host Evergreen State tomorrow at 5:30 pm. Evergreen St. were losers 84-77 tonight in Ashland.
