PORTLAND, Ore. – The College of Idaho’s Whitney Clark and Josh Owen have been named Cascade Conference Players of the Week in women’s and men’s basketball, respectively, the league office announced Monday.

Clark is currently seventh in the CCC in free throw percentage at 78.4%. With the wins, The College of Idaho remains one game back of the Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers for first place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

Owen lit up the nets on the road in Portland as he averaged 32.5 points on 23-of-36 (.639) shooting from the field, including 11-of-18 (.611) from behind the arc. His 31-point effort in a loss to 13th-ranked Warner Pacific (102-88) and 34-point night in a win over Cascade (81-54) were Josh’s first 30-point games of his career. With those points, Josh moves past his father Mark (Coyotes Head Coach) into seventh place on The College of Idaho all-time scoring list.
