ATHERTON, Calif. -- Oregon Tech Sophomore Crystal Idrogo (Sacramento, CA) scored 25 points to lead the Lady Owls past Menlo College 61-57, with the win Oregon Tech improves to 10-3 on the season while Menlo drops to 7-5.

With the score tied at 57 Jenna Ball (Sr - Scappose, OR) hit a running hook shot to give OIT the lead 59-57 with 4.8 seconds left. Menlo then in bounded the ball but Kepula Lee (Sr - Honolulu, HI) accidentally stepped out of bounds after catching the ball on the left sideline near half-court. OIT then in bounded the ball to Meagan Miyasaka (Jr - Honolulu, Hi) who was fouled. Miyasaka sank both free-throws to seal the 61-57 victory.

The Lady Owls shot 50 percent from the field in the second half making 13 of 26 shots. The Owls also made 11 of 12 free throws for the game. Tech also out rebounded the Oaks 37-34.

Menlo was led in scoring by Kepua Lee who had 23 points in the loss. Idrogo's 25 points led OIT with Jenna Ball chipping in 11 and Cora McVey (Sr - Dexter, OR) adding 10 points.

The Lady Owls will now play Rocky Mountain College of Montana Sunday at 3:00pm in game 3 of the Peninsula Hoops Classic being played on the campus of Menlo College in Atherton, CA. The game can be heard on 92.5 KLAD in Klamath Falls, OR and on the World Wide Web @oitsports.com.
