PORTLAND -- After spotting Warner Pacific a corner kick goal, Cascade stormed back with two scores of their own to get by the Knights, 2-1, in an exciting overtime match Saturday at Williams & Smith Field.

T-Bird Sandy Hanania scored her first goal of the season in dramatic fashion, taking an Elissa Coutin chip and finishing left of the Knight keeper two minutes into the second overtime.

WPC's Kristin Ruff bent home a corner kick in the 63rd minute, catching the T-Bird defense flat-footed and giving the visitors the late advantage. Cascade's Felicia Fernandez drew the team even with an 18-yard strike after Knight netminder Ali Foster found herself out of position while punching a crossed ball clear.

Following an uneventful first overtime, Hanania wasted no time in the second OT stanza, calmly collecting the Coutin pass and firing left and low to provide the game winner.

Cascade improves to 3-3-1 overall and 1-1-0 in conference play. Warner Pacific drops to 2-5-0 and 0-2-0.
