CALDWELL, Idaho -- A monster night from NAIA All-American Katie Hogue helped the Albertson College of Idaho volleyball team win its eighth-straight match, stopping Northwest University 30-19, 30-13, 30-22 tonight in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center. The senior broke three different school records as part of her 13 kill-13 block night, leading the No. 12-ranked Lady Yotes (10-6, 8-0) to their 26th-straight Cascade Conference win, their 29th-straight home win, and their 52nd-straight win against opponents not in a national poll

With a Game 1 block assist, Hogue became the all-time leader in blocks at ACI --surpassing Jesse Evett's record from 1994-97 -- and finished the night with 481 career blocks. Her 13 total blocks in the match topped the previous record of 11, set in both 1994 and 2003, with her 11 block assists passing the old mark of 10, set in 1997 and 2004.
Joining the party for the Yotes were both Anne Parker and Katie Zillner, who had 11 kills a piece, while Catherine Everist led all players with 20 digs and four aces.

The visiting Eagles (3-7, 2-6) got 10 kills from Gina Lubanovici and 24 assists from Tarah Petrick, but could not stop the Yotes' attack, as ACI blasted 51 kills.

ACI returns to action on Tuesday, hosting the College of Southern Idaho in an exhibition match at 7 p.m. The match can be seen live on the Internet, thanks to IdahoSportsZone.com, with Paul Kingsbury and Will Hoenike calling the action.
