KLAMATH FALLS, Oregon (January 11, 2008)---The Oregon Tech men’s basketball team remains perfect at home on the season dropping Northwest Christian 90-70. The win moves the Hustlin’ Owls to 16-2 overall and 7-1 in CCC play. With the loss Northwest Christian College drops to 5-12 and 2-5 in the CCC.

Oregon Tech shot 45.7% on the evening (32-70), compared to NCC’s 47.4% (27-57), but the Hustlin’ Owls were near perfect at the free throw line going 21-25 (84%) and out rebounding their opponents 42-30, with 18 coming from the offensive end.

The duo of Ryan Fiegi (Sr. Medford, OR) and Christian Cavanaugh (Jr. Mill Valley, CA) each dropped in a game high 22 points with Fiegi grabbing seven boards and Cavanaugh six. Brent Johnson (So. Medford, OR) tallied a team high nine boards followed by Myles Daley (So. Medford, OR) with eight rebounds to go along with his eight points. Junior guard Ryan Beesley (Jr. Rotorua, NZ) continues to stay hot, as he followed a career high 16 points at SOU Tuesday, with a career high 17 points on 3-3 from long range and 6-10 from the floor.

NCC had three players reach double figures, led by a Josh Jarrett double-double 17 points and 10 rebounds while Jordan Whittenburg had a team high 19 points and Brent McKee notched 10 points on the night.
