Idrogo, Ball Lead Lady Owls Past Knights
KLAMATH FALLS, Oregon (January 19, 2008)---The Lady Owls remain perfect at home and move to 15-5 and 7-3 in the Cascade Conference with a convincing win over visiting Warner Pacific 72-50.
A Jenna Ball (Sr. Scappoose, OR) 3-pointer with 7:22 on the clock gave Tech their first double digit lead and extended it to 16 points, behind a dominating 19 point first half performance from Crystal Idrogo (So, Sacramento, CA). The Lady Owls would head to the locker room with a 40-26 lead at the half. The second half saw Tech find their first 20+ point lead at 52-31 and eventually reach their largest margin of 25 points at 68-43 to end any hope of a comeback and go on to win by the final of 72-50.
Crystal Idrogo would score four more second half points to lead all players with 23 points for the game. Jenna Ball followed with 18 and grabbed a game high nine rebounds. Cora McVey (Sr. Dexter, OR) was the only other Owl in double digit scoring with 10 points with Meagan Miyasaka (Jr. Honolulu, HI) adding six assists.
Warner Pacific had two players in double figure points, led by Danica Wilson with 15 followed by the 12 points of Aurora Dillon.
