CALDWELL, Idaho - Megan Spinks led the way with 12 kills and four blocks, as The College of Idaho volleyball team swept No. 25 Oregon Tech 25-22, 25-18, 25-22 in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The win marked the third time this season that the Lady Yotes (14-7, 11-2 CCC) have defeated a nationally-ranked foe and help erase an OIT sweep of the Coyotes in early September.

Tech (16-4, 11-2), which saw a five-match win streak snapped, jumped out to a 5-1 lead in Set 1 and were tied 13-13, before the Coyotes pushed four points to take control of the period - thanks to kills from Sarah Buhler and Naomi Reimer along with a Madie Machurek ace.  Set 2 was more of the same, as the Yotes erased a 8-7 deficit with six-straight points, thanks to four OIT hitting errors to roll to the win.

Set 3 saw five lead changes, but was dominated by Spinks, who had six of her kills in the period - including a spike to set up match point.  An OIT hitting error ended it all.

Three Yotes had seven kills - Kristin Henning, Jessie Link, and Buhler, while Reimer had six kills, 16 assists, and 14 digs.  Machurek had 17 assists and eight digs, with Whitney Owen recording a match-high 18 digs.

Megan Christensen led the Owls with 9 kills, with Krista Wooley adding eight kills and nine digs.  Setter Lizzie Law had 23 assists and seven digs, with libero Krystie Vea recording 15 digs.

The Lady Yotes return to action tomorrow night, hosting No. 21 Southern Oregon at 7 p.m.
