BEAVERTON, Ore.—Celebrating senior day for the fifth-ranked Concordia women’s soccer team, each class got into the scoring act as the Cavaliers defeated Oregon Tech 6-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action on Friday.

With the win, Concordia kept its unbeaten streak alive as it propelled themselves to a 13-0-1 overall record with an unblemished 6-0-0 mark in CCC play. OIT dropped to 4-8-2 overall and 3-2-1 in conference action.

"It was a great night for our seniors,” Concordia head coach Grant Landy said. “ It was a nice crowd with lots of parents, fans and alumni. This is a special group of people that we honored tonight. They have done so much for our program. I thought they stepped up and our younger players played well in their honor."

Freshman Brittany Orr secured the game’s opening score and the eventual game-winner with a assisted strike in the 27th minute. With sophomore forward Sami Andrews serving the ball off a corner kick, Orr pushed the ball into the near post and past OIT goalkeeper Jaclyn Unruh.

Sophmore Kelton McFadden would produce a pair of goals to sandwich senior Shea Miller’s contribution to make it a 4-0 affair. Junior representation came via the foot of Jessica Ramback in the 80th minute with her CCC-leading 14th score of the season, while Andrews connected for a goal of her own in the 83rd minute to cap the Cavalier scoring.

Concordia outshot Oregon Tech 21-to-2 in the contest and produced seven corner kicks compared to two for the visiting Owls.

Leah Flores and Adrienne Hagen, both seniors, combined for the shutout while Unruh notched seven saves while taking the loss for OIT.

"Once again, we got a lot of contributions tonight from the entire team,” Landy said. “We need to continue with our momentum as we head into the game tomorrow night."

Concordia will host Southern Oregon at Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation Center at 5 p.m. while OIT will travel to face Cascade College at 2 p.m.
