CALDWELL, Idaho - Megan Spinks led a balanced College of Idaho attack with nine kills, as the Lady Yotes won their 15th-straight Cascade Conference match, topping Northwest University 25-12, 25-19, 25-15 on Dig For The Cure Night in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

On an evening when the No. 21 ranked Coyotes (18-7, 15-2 CCC) donned pink warm-ups in support of Breast Cancer Research, the Yotes racked up 50 digs and eight service aces in turning away their visitors from Washington.

Set 1 saw the Yotes use a quick 6-0 run, capped by kills from Kristin Henning and Naomi Reimer to build a 9-3 lead, then got a 9-0 run later to push the edge to 23-8.  The middle set was tighter, as the Eagles (9-15, 6-11) pulled even at 10-10 on a Carleigh Newman kill, but it was short-lived, as the Yotes scored the next five points, punctuated by back-to-back Sarah Buhler kills, to take control.  Set 3 saw NU rally from an early 7-1 deficit to draw within 15-13 on an Alisha Larion spike, but two Henning kills sparked a 10-2 push to close the match.

Spinks added two blocks to her kill total, while Henning had seven kills and Buhler six.  Reimer had an all-around night - five kills, 18 assists, five aces, and seven digs, with Whitney Owen leading the way with 22 digs.

The Eagles, who mustered just 17 kills on the night, got six kills from Newman.

The Lady Yotes return to action tomorrow, hosting Evergreen State at 7 p.m.
