Concordia With Lead Heading into Final Round of C of I Invite

WILDER, Idaho - The Concordia University women’s golf team continues to dominate the Cascade Conference, as the Cavaliers hold a commanding 36-hole lead heading into the final round of the second CCC Tournament of the season, The College of Idaho Invitational at River Bend Golf Course.
The Cavs, thanks to the play of Lindsay Aho and Kim Tilton, hold a 53-shot lead over second-place C of I, heading into tomorrow’s final 18.
Aho opened with a one-over 73 in her morning round, followed by a 77 – giving her an eight-stroke lead on Tilton, who had the low second-round total with a 75.
Ashley King of Northwest Christian is nine strokes back, followed by the Coyotes Cecilia Garcia, who sits 16 shots off the pace.
NCU, along with Warner Pacific, participated as individuals at the CCC qualifier, but did not have the four necessary players to determine a team score, while the fifth CCC school, Corban College, chose not to make the trip to Idaho.
The final round is set to begin at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning.
