Hustlin' Owls Cruise to Win Over Pioneers
Angwin, CA. (Nov. 9, 2008)– No. 1 ranked Oregon Tech upped their season mark to 3-0 with a 93-77 win over Cal Pac member Pacific Union College this afternoon at the Covered Wagon in Angwin, CA.
Christian Cavanaugh (Sr. Mill Valley, CA) scored a game high 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Justin Parnell (Jr. Sutherlin, OR) finished with 25 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Owl charge. Josh Wetzler and Jguwon Hogges each finished the day in double digit points with 15 and 11 respectively.
The Hustlin’ Owls will take their perfect mark back on the road next Saturday, November 15th in Redding, California at Simpson University at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on 92.5 KLAD-FM in Klamath Falls, Oregon and on the World Wide Web at oitsports.com with the Danny Miles show at 7:00pm and play by play with Bobby Thompson and Mike Garrard.
