Oregon Tech's Kelsey New (Jr. Winston, Ore.) scored a game high 22 points tonight to lead the Lady Owls to an 83-38 win over Cal Pac member Pacific Union.
Lady Owls Dump Pioneers
Angwin, CA. – The Lady Owls once again used tough defense on Pacific Union, forcing the host team to over 30 turnovers, as Oregon Tech (4-0) cruised to an easy 83-38 victory tonight at the Covered Wagon in Angwin, CA. Tonight is the second win over PUC on the season.
The Pioneers jumped out early to an 8-0 lead, but it was all Owls after that, as Tech went into the half with an insurmountable lead. The second half the Owls held PUC to only one point before the Pioneers were able to connect for their first basket at the 10:02 mark. Tech would then push the game to a 50 point advantage at 74-24 and go on to settle for an 83-38 victory.
Kelsey New (Jr. Winston, Ore.), tonight’s Applebee’s Player of the Game, led the Lady Owls in scoring tonight with 22 points followed by Aundrea Albright (Fr. Central Point, Ore.), coming off the bench, with 18. Megan Ross (So. Medford, Ore.) also came off the bench and finished with 11 points on the evening.
Having finished a three game road swing through Northern California, Oregon Tech will take their perfect mark to Danny Miles Court where the Owls will host Bethany University on Saturday, November 15th with the tip set for 5:30PM.
