Klamath Falls, Ore – The Oregon Institute of Technology Athletic Department announced today a new three-year broadcast agreement with New Northwest Broadcasters to broadcast Oregon Tech men’s and women’s basketball along with baseball and softball. The new agreement will start immediately with this weekend’s games in Washington. Under the new agreement all of the Oregon Tech women’s basketball games will be broadcast on 960 KLAD-AM and all of the Oregon Tech men’s games will be broadcast on 92.5 KLAD-FM. The announcement was made by Michael Schell, Oregon Tech Athletic Director.

“Under this new agreement all of our Cascade Collegiate Conference men’s and women’s basketball games will now be broadcast both home and away. This will be a big boost for our women’s basketball program that previously only had league away games broadcast. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to listen live to a limited number of both baseball and softball games this spring on 960 KLAD-AM. We are very pleased that New Northwest Broadcasters was willing to work with us to add these new broadcasts,” said Michael Schell OIT Athletic Director.

Play-by-play for all the broadcast will be handled by the Oregon Tech broadcast team of Bobby Thompson and Mike Garrard starting at 5:25 pm with the women's game on 960 KLAD-AM with the men's broadcast starting at 7:00 pm on 92.5 KLAD-FM
