Warner Pacific's Moore Named Player of Week in Men's Basketball
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Warner Pacific senior Adam Moore, a 6-7 forward from Everett, Wash., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball.
Moore averaged 26.7 points and 7.0 rebounds last week as the Knights posted a 3-0 record, including a 78-67 win over Northwest Christian in their CCC opener. Moore had 27 points and eight rebounds vs. the Beacons, hitting 10 of 19 shots from the field and all six of his free throw attempts.
Earlier in the week, Moore had 20 points and five rebounds in a 73-71 win over NCAA Division III Linfield, and 32 points and eight rebounds in a 98-95 victory over Puget Sound, an NCAA Division III team ranked 14th nationally in its classification.
For the week, Moore shot 57 percent (32 of 56) from the field, 50 percent (7 of 14) from beyond the arc, and 89 percent (8 of 9) from the free throw line.
Warner Pacific, which is 7-1 on the season, moved up to 12th in this week’s NAIA Top 25 poll.
