KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Senior midfielder Bryan Iotte and senior goalkeeper Garrett Staples were recognized this week as the NAIA released the men’s soccer All-America teams.

Iotte (Auburn, Wash.) was selected as a second-team member while Staples (Eugene, Ore.) was chosen as an honorable mention All-American. Staples was recognized as an NAIA All-American honorable mention for his outstanding play in goal for the fourth straight season.

Iotte led the Cavaliers with nine goals and eight assists for 26 total points, a sum good for fifth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Limiting the opposition to just 1.14 goals per game, Staples posted 75 saves against 24 goals allowed while playing more than 1,800 minutes in front of the net,

Concordia finished the season with a 14-6-2 record en route to winning their eighth straight Cascade Collegiate Conference championship. The Cavaliers moved past No. 9 Concordia (Calif.) after surviving penalty kicks in the opening round of the NAIA Championships and fell to No. 8 Hastings 1-0 in the second round of play.
