TURLOCK, Calif. -- Oregon Tech would only get two hits in game one, losing 6-0 to Cal State Stanislaus and in game two, the Warriors came storming back in a come-from-behind 4-3 win, to cap a wild Sunday in a doubleheader sweep of Oregon Tech at Warrior Field. The Hustlin' Owls fall to 1-7 overall, while the sweep moves the Warriors' record to 7-3.

Warrior pitcher Marquis Fleming walked three batters in the first three innings, but settled down to retire 20 of 21 Owl batters en route to his second win of the season. The Warriors gave Fleming all the support he needed in game one, as Cal State Stanislaus would score all six of their runs in the fourth inning, dumping Tech 6-0.

In game two of Sunday's doubleheader, Oregon Tech took a 3-0 lead in the fifth inning, but the Warriors' flare for late-game comebacks would resurface. The fifth inning started with a Mike Myhre triple to deep center field. Oregon Tech designated hitter Dustin Kim Seu followed with an RBI single. Another single by Trenton Smith moved Kim Seu over to third. The Warriors first baseman botched a pick off throw, scoring Kim Seu to give the Hustlin' Owls a 2-0 lead. A sacrifice fly would later score Smith to put the Hustlin' Owls up 3-0. In the bottom of the sixth, Dennis Wolfe jump-started the Warriors offense with a push-bunt single towards first base. His teammates responded by following with four straight base hits and three RBI, the last coming as an RBI double off the bat of Josh Lewis to tie the game at three. In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases loaded and two outs, Kyle Loretelli stepped to the plate and drove the first pitch he saw to right field to score Palacios, who started things in the inning with a one-out single, giving the Warriors the 4-3 victory.

Oregon Tech will Travel to Oakland, CA this weekend, playing Patten College in a double-header on Saturday 2/23 and Sunday 2/24. Game one will begin at 11 AM both days.
