KANSAS CITY, Mo. - College of the Ozarks (Mo.) stayed No. 1 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division II Women's Basketball Top-25 poll for the ninth straight week. Ozarks earned 12 first place votes and compiled 505 total points.

Southern Oregon, which trails Cascade Conference league leader Eastern Oregon by a half game (the teams are equal in the loss column), is No. 22 this week, dropping from the No. 18 position last week. Eastern Oregon fell to the No. 26 spot.

The CCC's regular season winds up this weekend. The Raiders host Corban on Friday night before closing out the regular league campaign against Concordia on Saturday night. Eastern Oregon has one league game remaining on its schedule; the Mounties host Northwest Christian on Saturday night.  The top eight teams in the CCC qualify for the league's postseason tournament, which gets underway on Tuesday. Southern and Eastern split their two-game series this season. The next tiebreaker will be to compare each team's win-loss record against CCC teams which finished .500 or better in league play.

Northwestern (Iowa) also held onto No. 2 for the ninth consecutive week with 498 total points and five first place votes while Morningside (Iowa) received 476 total points and stayed at No. 3 for the fifth straight week. Hasting (Neb.) jumped up two spots to No. 4 with 448 points and Bethel (Ind.) dropped a spot to No. 5 with 446 points.

No. 25 Aquinas (Mich.) moved back into the top-25 after dropping out in week six.

The final regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, February 27.
