CALDWELL, Idaho - Kyle Masten canned a three-pointer from the top of the key with 2:22 remaining, giving Corban College the lead for good, as the Warriors upset The College of Idaho, 72-65, tonight in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

After falling behind 60-55 with four minutes left, the Yotes (11-14, 8-7 CCC) got a three from Josh Owen and a trey from Bryan Champ to regain the lead, but Masten answered with his only field goal of the night. keying an 11-1 run that ended a Warrior three-game losing streak to The C of I.

The game was tied 28-28 at the break, but Corban (9-16, 4-11) used back-to-back Ben Sisler three's, part of an 8-0 run early in the half to take a 40-35 lead. A Champ three would give the Yotes the lead briefly at 41-40, but a duece from Jason Braun and a pair of Wade Douglas lay-ups got the lead back for Corban - which they would hold until the final three minutes.

Douglas led Corban with 19 points and 12 rebounds, with Clay Martin adding 17 and Braun 11 points and six rebounds - all in the second half.

Champ had 19 points and four steals before fouling out late in the game. Owen had 17 points and J.R. Maggard logged a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

The Yotes return to action tomorrow night, hosting Concordia at 7:30 p.m. It is "Think Pink" night to raise awareness for breast cancer research - as all fans are asked to wear pink to the game.
