LA GRANDE, Ore. -- Warner Pacific came into Quinn Coliseum here and did what only one other visiting team could do this season -- leave La Grande with a victory. The Knights defeated Eastern Oregon 85-79 in a CCC tournament semifinal to advance to Tuesday night's championship game in Olympia vs. Evergreen, which defeated second-seeded Oregon Tech in the other semifinal.

Evergreen advanced to the finals with a 93-76 road victory over Oregon Tech.

EOU played a sloppy first half and trailed at halftime 44-32. In the second-half, Warner Pacific contineud to shoot well, hitting 68 percent from beyond the arc for the game.

The Knights built their lead to as much as 16 at one point in the second half, but Eastern charged back and cut it to five with under two minutes to go in the game. Unfortunately, the Mounties didn't have enough in the tank and lost for the first time at home in their last seven games.

WPC's Scott O'Gallagher, the CCC's leading scorer, led all scorers with 20 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the field. Neil Fryer led the Mounties with 13 points and six rebounds.
