NCC Finishes 13th at Lady Otter Invitational
Eugene, Ore. -- After a rough first round at the Lady Otter Spring Invitational on Monday, Northwest Christian College rebounded on day two, improving by a combined 36 strokes. The Beacons finished 13th as a team.
The biggest jump went to Reanna Huston, who shaved 17 strokes off of her first round to break into double-digits with a 99. Jordie Howell righted the ship after hitting 119 on day one to break her personal best with a round of 103. Colleen Koopal also took eight strokes off of her first-round total to card a 112.
Ashley King finished the tournament as the Beacons top golfer, taking 47th place overall. She scored a 94 in the second round and a combined score of 183 in the tournament.
The Beacons will be back in action on Monday March 25th as they play Diamond Woods GC in Monroe, Ore., for the Cascade Collegiate Conference event hosted by Corban College.
