MONROE, Ore. -- Concordia's Kim Lindow posted an opening day total of 13-over 157 to lead the Cascade Collegiate Conference #3 Qualifier hosted by Corban College by five strokes over fellow Cavalier teammate Lindsay Aho Monday at Diamond Woods Golf Course.

Lindow was the clubhouse leader after the opening round as she was a mere stroke ahead of Aho and Concordia's Kim Tilton, as well as Northwest Christian's Ashley King, who all posted opening round totals of 11-over 83.

In the second round, Lindow distanced herself from the rest of the field thanks to a tournament-low 3-over 75 over the day's final 18 holes which was four strokes better than Aho (8-over 79) and Concordia's Amy Esmeier (8-over 79).

All five of the Cavaliers' players were in the top ten individually, as Concordia ended the opening day as the leader thanks to a combined team total of 74-over 650.

Northwest Christian, led by King's 22-over 166, is alone in second place after posting a two-round total of 229-over 805 which is 91strokes better than tournament-host Corban's 320-over 896.

Meanwhile, Catherine Everist leads The College of Idaho with an opening day total of 46-over 190 which is good for seventh place. Corban's Elizabeth Sherwin is the Warriors' leader at 64-over 208 and sits alone in 10th place.
