COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. --  Oregon Tech senior pitcher Keri Gesner (Orting, Wash.) faced the minimum 15 batters on her way to a perfect game as The No.20 Lady Owls crushed Walla Walla College 12-0 in game 1 of the double-header. Gesner struck out 9 Wolves before the game was called after 5 innings due to the 8 run rule. Oregon Tech’s Amber Sinicrope (Kirkland, Wash), Katie King (Hillsboro, Ore) and Brittany Warren (Longview, Wash) each had three hits in the game.

Brittany Warren, last week’s Cascade Conference Player of the Week, continued her hot hitting as the junior went 4-4 with 2 monster homeruns and a double in game 2 as the Owls won 14-1. Warren was a perfect 7-7 on the night for Oregon Tech. Bess Fagan (Klamath Falls, Ore) pitched all 5 innings for her second win of the season striking out 3 and giving up 1 earned run. Sunceray Titus (Salem, Ore), Katie King and Jenny Austin (Grants Pass, Ore) each added two hits in the game 2 win.

The Lady Owls improve to 30-10 on the season and have now won 14 games in a row heading into today’s (4/25) games at Eastern Oregon. First pitch for today’s game is scheduled for 3:00 pm in La Grande, Oregon.
