PORTLAND, Ore. – The Concordia University volleyball team announced its second signing this week as Ramona (Calif.) H.S. senior hitter JoLinda Ann Georgeson signed to continue her education and compete for the Cavaliers, CU head coach Christopher Duenow announced this week.

Georgeson was a two-year varsity player for the Bulldogs as an outside hitter. In 2007, she was named second-team all-CIF Division II and helped Ramona High School to a CIF Division II championship in 2006.

“We couldn't be happier that JoLinda's ties to Oregon and Concordia led her to our campus,” Duenow said. “Not only is she passionate about the game but she also has an incredible upside that we are very excited to develop over the next four years. We are looking forward to the competitive sprit, physical style of play and big personality that she will add to the mix.”

JoLinda is the daughter of Joani and Tim Georgeson and plans to major in health and fitness at Concordia.
