BLUE RIVER, Ore.. - Lindsay Aho shot a first-round 80 and a second round 81to lead the Concordia Cavalier women’s golf team to a day one lead in the fourth regular-season CCC tournament at Tokatee Golf Course in Blue River, OR. The Cavs scored 672 for the first 36 holes and took a 134 stroke lead over host Northwest Christian College.

Ashley King of NCC sat in second place through the end of Mondays action, shooting an 83-82=165 to remain just four shots back of Aho. The next four spots were occupied by Cavaliers with Catherine Everest of The College of Idaho grabbing seventh with a 92-90=182. Everest leads a three member contingent for the Yotes.

Corban College sits in third place with an 832, led by Elizabeth Sherwin at 202 after a second-round 98.  The highlight of the day, however, came from Emily Stupfel who scored an Eagle on hole 8 of the first round, firing a hole-in-one on the par-three 158-yarder. Stumpfel is at 207 and sits in tenth place heading into day two.  

The final regular-season Cascade Conference tournament concludes on Tuesday morning with tee-times beginning just before 8:00 am.
