BLUE RIVER, Ore. - Tyler Austin closed out the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament at Tokatee Golf Course on Tuesday with a round three even-par 72, leading Concordia University to a 67-stroke victory. Austin finished at one-over par for the tournament (72-73-72=217) to claim a nine-shot victory over second place.

Part of a second-place tie went to Concordia’s Craig Dehning, who shot a one-over 73 in the third round to finish at 226. Concordia also grabbed fourth and fifth place as Brad Bachman (76-75-76=227) and Marc Arima (78-78-77=233) rounded out the scoring.

Corban College took second place with a 967 final score, closing with a 331 in Tuesday’s third round. The Warriors were led by a 17-over 233 from Ben Sisler who tied for fifth overall. Other scorers for Corban were Wade Douglas (241), Nathan Furumasu (247), and Steve Landis (249) taking 11th, 12th, and 13th place respectively.

Northwest Christian College follows in third place, five shots behind the Warriors nat 972. The Beacons got back five strokes on the Warriors in the third round with a 326. Justin Ahrens fired a 76 on Tuesday to close out a strong second-place finish at 226. Brent McKee took eighth place with a 235 and Jeremy Chappell grabbed 15th place with a 255. Josh Samples rounded out the scoring with a personal tournament-low 83 in the third round to end at 256.

The College of Idaho took fourth place led by a 9th-place finish for Ben Coate (85-76-78=239). James Taylor (269) and Colin Slaughter (293) were also in the top-20 overall for the Yotes.
