12 Men's Track Athletes Earn Berths to NAIA
National Championships
PORTLAND, Ore. -- A dozen Cascade Collegiate Conference men's track and field athletes representing five CCC institutions have secured their spots in the NAIA national track and field championships by meeting automatic qualifying standards.
The national meet is slated to take place May 22-24 in St. Louis, Mo.
Leading the way for the CCC are four athletes who currently have the NAIA's top marks in their respective events: Nik Kay of Concordia in the discus (183-5), Greg Schultz of Concordia in the hammer (200-5), Paul Roshau of Concordia in the javelin (211-10), and Ryan Musselman of Southern Oregon in the pole vault (16-0 3/4).
