PORTLAND, Ore. -- Cascade Collegiate Conference men's track and field athletes achieved automatic or provisional qualifying standards 64 times for the upcoming NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, according to the final listing released Tuesday by the national office.

The national meet is scheduled for May 22-24 in St. Louis, Mo.

Of the 64 occurrences, 38 are automatic qualifying marks and 26 are provisional marks.

In order to qualify automatically for the national meet, athletes must either meet the automatic standard or be ranked in the top 16 of a particular event. In addition, institutions may enter up to three provisional qualifiers in the national meet. The declaration deadline is Thursday.

Concordia, which last weekend won the CCC championship, leads the way with 14 automatic qualifiers. Eastern Oregon (8), Southern Oregon (6), Oregon Tech (5), College of Idaho (3), Evergreen (1) and Warner Pacific (1) follow.
