PORTLAND, Ore. – The College of Idaho’s Jake Miller and Pat Lyon have been voted Player and Pitcher of the Year, respectively, by the Cascade Collegiate Conference baseball coaches, the league office announced Tuesday.

Miller (6-0, Jr., Idaho Falls, Idaho), an outfielder, claimed the Cascade Collegiate Conference’s top position player award after hitting a conference-best .369 with 10 doubles and three homers, while collecting 30 RBI. His 65 hits during the regular-season were second best to Oregon Tech’s Ryson Mauricio. Currently, Miller has hit safely in 18 of his last 21 games. Miller also led the CCC in multi-hit games with 22.

Lyon (6-3, Sr., Bonners Ferry, Idaho), a right-handed pitcher, was selected by the conference coaches as the CCC Pitcher of the Year. Lyon ended the regular-season with a 4-2 record, while striking out 21 and walking just five. His 3.33 ERA was second best in CCC for pitchers with ½ inning pitched per team game played.

The College of Idaho sweep became complete when head coach Shawn Humberger was named Coach of the Year. This is Humberger’s fourth straight CCC coaching honor and fifth since 2002. After claiming the CCC regular-season title, Humberger’s Coyotes just missed another Region I pennant, losing the tiebreaker with the University of British Columbia, as both teams finished Region I play with identical 17-7 records. This was College of Idaho’s 22nd consecutive 25-win season.

The following are the 17 players selected to the All-CCC team:
