WPC Signs One 'Moore' Player in Men's Hoops
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Warner Pacific coach Bart Valentine has announced the signing of another player to the 2008 recruiting class, and this name will have a familiar ring to conference coaches. Adam Moore has signed on to become a Knight for the 2008-09 season.
In the 2006-07 season Moore played for the The Evergreen State College, where he averaged 20.5 points per game, while shooting nearly 60% from the field and 82% from the line. In addition, Moore pulled down five rebounds per game. He will transfer to Warner Pacific as a senior with one year of eligibility. Moore adds to a deep recruiting class that will be called on to replace the loss of the top eight players off the 2008 team. Warner Pacific has won either the conference regular season or the conference tournament each of the past three years, qualifying for the national tournament each of those years.
"Adam Moore is a proven prolific scorer in our conference," said Valentine. "He brings the ability to score both inside and out while shooting a high percentage. This new group of recruits has some big shoes to fill, following our past three teams. Adam will be an instrumental piece as we strive to maintain that level of play."
