First Team All-State Infielder Signs with Tech
Klamath Falls, Ore – Oregon Tech head women’s softball coach, Greg Stewart, announced today that Ashliegh Larson of Medford, OR. has signed a letter-of-intent to play for Oregon Tech for the upcoming 2009 season.
Larson is an All-State infielder who helped lead her Crater Comets High School team to back to back State Titles in 2007 and 2008. In the 2007 championship game she went 3 for 4. While in the 2008 title game she scored a run and had a RBI in route to Crater’s 3-2 win over Glencoe of Beaverton, OR.
“Ashliegh is a player who performs well in big games. She is a .400 plus hitter who also has the athletic ability to play several positions in the infield,” said head coach Greg Stewart. He added, “I am excited about Ashliegh’s decision to attend Oregon Tech and I think she will be a key addition to our program for the next four years.”
