Tech's Kelly Caleb Named CCC "Athletic Trainer of the Year"
PORTLAND, Ore – Oregon Tech’s Kelly Caleb, an assistant athletic trainer at Oregon Institute of Technology, was voted the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) 2007-08 Athletic Trainer of the Year. The award was voted on by athletic trainers in the CCC the league office announced today.
Caleb received an Associates of Arts degree from Oregon Tech in 1996 before going on to Oregon State where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science in June of 1999. Caleb has been National Athletic Trainers Association Certified since 1999. Caleb came to OIT after being the Certified Athletic Trainer at Klamath Union High School from 2002 – 2007. Prior to KUHS Caleb was the Athletic Trainer at Mazama High School from 1999 – 2002. Kelly is finishing her first year at Oregon Tech and also is the photographer for the Athletics Department. Kelly and her husband, Ed Caleb, have been married for 5 years.
