LA GRANDE, Ore. -- The Eastern Oregon University soccer team took an early 1-0 lead but Carroll College answered with 4 straight goals. Soccer standout Lauren Robideau found the net once again early in the game, but it wasn't enough for the Mounties to hold on. Shortly after the Mountaineers first goal, #10 ranked Carroll College answered back, scoring three of their four goals in the first half.

The Mounties battled the second half, holding the Saints to one goal. Robideau noted on the game, "We need to take this game and learn from it." The Mounties are working on their consistency throughout 90 minutes of play, and showed spurts of improvement today. Head Coach Jessy Watson stated, "We are a young team and still learning. We showed early on what we are capable of doing." The Mounties will bounce back tomorrow playing the University of Great Falls at 2:00 p.m. at the EOU Soccer Field.
