Having been out shot by eight (12-4) in the first half, the Warriors regrouped and came out with a defensive mind set attempting to hold Central Washington at bay.

Over the game's final 45 minutes, the Warrior defense allowed 17 more shots with only one finding the back of the net. Central Washington's Franks notched her second goal of the contest in the 78th minute to cap the game's scoring.

Allen played all 90 minutes between the pipes for Corban en route to recording her game-high in saves. Meanwhile, Central Washington's Amber Easterbrook needed to record a mere one save en route to picking up the victory via a shutout.

With the loss, Corban falls to 1-3-0 on the season while Central Washington moves to 2-1-0. The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, September 6th, when they host the University of Puget Sound beginning at noon on Warrior Field.
