PORTLAND, Ore.–Behind two goals each by Kaitlyn Tebbs and Shea Miller, the Concordia University women’s soccer team defeated Warner Pacific 5-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference action on Saturday.

With the victory, Concordia improved to 9-0-1 overall and 3-0-0 in CCC play while Warner Pacific dropped to 1-5-2 and 0-1-1 in league contests.

With her seventh goal of the season, Justine Pronovost launched the Cavaliers into the lead with a blast in the 19th minute of action. Just over four minutes later, Tebbs connected on her first successful shot of the day with a six-yard dart into the right side, past the Warner Pacific keeper.

In eth second period, Miller scored back-to-back netters in the 50th and the 61st minute to give the Cavs a 4-0 stake while Tebbs returned in the 77th minute with an 18-yard shot for the team’s fifth goal of the game.

For the match, Concordia outshot the Knights 28-to-6 and created a 7-to-5 advantage in corner kick opportunities.

Georgie Christensen received the win while spending the first 69 minutes in goal Adrienne Hagen relieved Christensen and notched two saves to preserve the shutout.

Warner Pacific keeper Lacey Golden played the full contest and recorded six saves in the loss.

Jessica Ramback posted two assists for Concordia. Also getting credit for an assist were Caitlin Verhofstadt, Brittany Orr and Angie Turner, with her team-leading fifth goal-generating pass.

Concordia returns to the pitch when they face Northwest University in a home match on Oct. 3. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. at the Tualatin Hills Park and Rec Center in Beaverton, Ore.
