Owls Held Scoreless in 1-0 Loss
ARCATA, Calif. – The Lumberjacks drove home the only goal of the game late in the first half, lifting Humboldt State to a 1-0 win over Oregon Institute of Technology in non-conference women's soccer action Friday.
Erway took a pass from Alison Lawrence and knocked in the shot off the post late in the first half for the games only goal. Humboldt State had several more chances, but couldn't get the ball past Tech keeper Jaclyn Unruh, outshooting the Owls16-5.
The Lady Owls return to action on Sunday, September 7th when they face Embry-Riddle, AZ at noon and George Fox University at 4:00pm on Monday, September 8th. Both games are being played in Newberg.
