Christon Vander Esch was named CCC Player of the Week in women's basketball for the second time this season.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Christon Vander Esch, a 5-11 senior forward from College of Idaho, has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball.
Vander Esch helped the Yotes to a 2-0 record last week, including scoring a career-high 28 points in a 62-53 win over No. 17 Concordia. Vander Esch also pulled down 19 rebounds and had four blocks in the win, which ended a school-record 15-game win streak for the Cavaliers.
In two games, Vander Esch averaged 16 points, 14 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.0 blocks.
It marks the second time this season Vander Esch has been honored by the CCC.
