The Eastern Oregon University men's basketball team (8-2, 2-2 CCC) defeated the Beacons of Northwest Christian College (9-5, 3-2 CCC) 84-68. The Mounties were deadlocked with the Beacons at halftime, 34-34 and then exploded for 50 points in the second half on 68% shooting in the second half.
Senior Neil Fryer led the way with eighteen points and four rebounds. All five starters had double figure scoring as Seniors Jeremy Templeton and Kris Groce had tweleve and fourteen points respectively, while senior Paul Carollo fifteen points and Junior Josh Landsverk had ten.
For the Beacons, post Andrew Miller had eighteen points and four rebounds, while point guard Eric Quick-Warner had ten points. Dylan Perry gave the team a huge lift off the bench, with a team-high eight rebounds.
