Northwest U. Hires Dietrich as New Volleyball Coach
KIRKLAND, Wash. – Northwest University Director of Athletics, Gary McIntosh, announced the hiring of Jessie Dietrich as the new head volleyball coach at the school.
"I think we have hired a very dynamic, young volleyball coach in Jessie,” stated McIntosh. “Her enthusiasm, energy, and passion will be a big asset to our volleyball program. We are very happy to get a coach with her background as a player at Northwest University, a coach at Jacksonville University, Florida, and a coach for the Arsenal Volleyball Club in Redmond, Washington. Jessie's knowledge of the local area will be a valuable asset in recruiting student-athletes from the Pacific Northwest and beyond."
“Her knowledge of the Cascade Conference and recent success as a player will serve the University and our volleyball program well. Jessie possesses a great understanding of the game and is highly motivated in teaching the game to her players,” McIntosh continued. “She has the ability to develop relationships with her student-athletes and is extremely focused on helping them develop both on and off the court. We are thrilled Jessie and her husband Bobby will be joining the Northwest U. athletics family.”
Dietrich graduated from Northwest University in 2006 with a B.A. in Communication with a concentration on organizational Management.
