PORTLAND, Ore. - Christon Vander Esch led five players in double figures with 20 points, as The College of Idaho women's basketball team clinched their 13th playoff appearance in the last 14 years, stopping Warner Pacific, 85-69, in C.C. Perry Gymnasium.

The victory for the No. 9 ranked Lady Yotes (21-1, 12-0 CCC) was their 21st in a row - the second-longest win streak in Cascade Conference history, and secured a spot in the eight-team CCC Tournament in late February.

A 15-0 first half run broke open a close game, as a three-pointer from Nicole Gall gave The C of I a 31-12 margin, with the visitors taking a 46-28 lead into halftime.  A 14-2 run early in the second half would push the lead to 64-35, with the Yotes withstanding a late charge by the Knights (10-11, 6-6).

Gall had 16 points in the win, with Meghan Hughes scoring 13, and both ShaNae Horner and Alex Allen adding ten.

WP got a game-high 29 points from Jacque Barton, but were undone by 32 turnovers.

The Lady Yotes return to action on Friday night, hosting Southern Oregon at 5:30 p.m.
