Corban's Douglas Becomes 20th Player in Warrior History to Eclipse 1,000 Career Points
SALEM, Ore. – Senior Wade Douglas (Ontario, Ore.) recently became the 20th player in Corban men's basketball history to surpass the 1,000-point plateau for his career, as the third-year Warrior has accumulated 1,087 points in 71 games.
A transfer from Treasure Valley Community College, the 6-foot-5 forward has led the Warriors in both total points and points per game in each of his first two seasons while earning back-to-back Cascade Collegiate Conference honorable mention awards.
Earlier this month against the then-No. 10-ranked Knights of Warner Pacific, Douglas tallied his 1,000th career point via a lay-up two minutes and four seconds into the contest en route to scoring 12 points on 5-for-6 shooting from the field.
