Pairings Set for CCC Women's Soccer Tourney
PORTLAND, Ore. – Regular season co-champions College of Idaho and Concordia have earned the top two seeds in the upcoming Cascade Collegiate Conference women’s soccer tournament and will host opening-round games Saturday, Oct. 31.
The Yotes, who earned a share of their first-ever CCC women’s soccer regular season title on Saturday, secured the top seed in the four-team tournament by virtue of their regular season victory Friday over conference co-champion Concordia. Both C of I and Concordia finished CCC regular season play with 8-1 marks. Corban (6-2-1) is seeded third, and Oregon Tech (6-3) is seeded fourth.
College of Idaho will host OIT Saturday at noon at Simplot Stadium in Caldwell, Idaho. Concordia will host Corban Saturday at 4 p.m. at Strasser Field in Portland.
The winners of Saturday’s matches will meet at the site of the higher-seeded team Nov. 7 for the CCC Tournament championship. The winner of the CCC Tournament will earn the conference’s automatic bid to the NAIA Championships, which get underway with opening-round games Nov. 21.
