PORTLAND, Ore. – American Medical Response, the nation’s leading medical transportation company, will provide emergency services at the upcoming NAIA Cross Country National Championships. AMR serves more communities and customers than any other private ambulance service provider in the country.

More than 650 collegiate athletes from across the country will compete in men’s 8K and women’s 5K races at Fort Vancouver, which has served as the competition venue for a number of USA National Cross Country Championships.

The event is free and open to the public.

The men’s race begins at 10:30 a.m. and is followed by the women’s race at 11:45 am.

Fans attending the event are encouraged to park in designated areas along 5th Street (south side of the park) or at Hudson’s Bay High School, which is located within walking distance of the Fort.

The national championships will feature 32 teams plus more than 100 individual competitors in each race.
