Northwest Christian's Ben Voogd, MVP of last weekend's William Jessup Warrior Classic, has been named CCC Player of the Week.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Northwest Christian’s Ben Voogd, a 6-2 senior point guard from Florence, Ore., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference men's basketball Player of the Week for the period Nov. 9-15.
Voogd averaged 18.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals in leading the Beacons to a 3-0 record, including a pair of victories for the team title at the William Jessup Warrior Classic. Voogd, who was named the tournament MVP, had 18 points in an opening-game 61-51 win over host William Jessup, then had 21 points in handing NAIA Division I Cal Baptist its first loss of the season, 68-54.
Earlier in the week, the transfer from the University of Oregon had 16 points in a 71-67 victory over Simpson University.
